Sick of devilish sensual women
(This is something I wrote a while back-still rings true)

What's on my mind is: i'm SO SICK OF DEVILISH, SENSUAL WOMEN! "Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, & walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking & mincing as they go, & making a tinkling with their feet: Therefore the Lord will smite with the scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their SECRET PARTS. In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, & their cauls, & their round tires like the moon, the chains & the bracelets, & the mufflers,The bonnets,& the ornaments of the legs, & the headbands, & the tablets, & the earrings. The rings, & nose jewels, The changeable suits of apparel, & the mantles, & the wimples, & the crisping pins, The glasses, & the fine linen, the hoods, & the vails. And it shalll come to pass, that instead of a sweet smell there shall be stink; & instead of a girdle a rent; & instead of well set hair baldness; & instead of stomacher a girding of sackcloth; & burning instead of beauty...And she being desolate shall sit upon the ground." Isaiah 3:16-26 "And when thou art spoiled what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life."- Jer. 4:30 "Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life."Proverbs6:25-26 "How much she hath glorified herself, & lived deliciously, so much torment & sorrow give her: for she hath said in her heart, I sit as a queen, & am no widow, & shall see no sorrow."Rev. 18:7 For the love of God, & the sons of God, women "Turn, O backsliding children for I am married unto you..." "And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city...& set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof." -Ezekiel 9:4
All the perverse advertising, billboards, magazines in the check out lines--set no evil thing before your eyes, my friends; rather, cry & sigh. We should always feel a culture shock when in the world, but not of the world.

...rentest thy face with painting

aaah, modest women & children...what a difference they make in the world.
Seek to be like these,"...which is in the sight of God of great price"(1. Peter 3:4) rather than the other- to whom just judgement will come upon.

  1. I am sick of them too. It seems there is not ONE place I can go out in public with my lost husband, without him and I being bombarded with immodestly dressed or flirtatious women, where ever we go. Even in the car driving, there are always women jogging down the street or just walking in tight bra tops and yoga pants. Tonight my husband took me out to dinner and the waitress was in a short skirt and was at our table every 15 minutes, for silly reasons, with sensual looks and flirtatious behavior. I do not imagine these things, it is at EPIC proportions now. Going out in public with him, it is literally like walking around a brothel with the women all publicly displaying themselves. I am so grieved by this. I know my lost husband commits many adulteries in his heart with this literal smorgasbord of near naked and painted women he has thrust before him everyday. Even at his workplace I know there is sensual, devilish women there who take pride in having the lust of married men upon their bodies. It has become embarrassing for me to go anywhere with my husband now! Lord have mercy.

  2. I am sorry your husband is distracted by these women. Please don't allow your love to wax cold. We are warned that lawlessness will abound and the love of many will wax cold. We want to be numbered with the few that are chosen, not the many who are cold and lacking natural affection. I have to remind myself I used to be a lost, immodest women decieved by fleshly lusts. We need strong women of God to hold virtuous examples and reach out to this generation of young women who are being assulted from a young age to act sensual and glory in body. I often find myself overwhelmed by the grief of the sensuality in society. But if I press into seek God's face He strengthens me to have compassion. I wrote my testimony about God convicting me concerning modesty; you can read it under the title "How Shall We Be Clothed?" I have made paper copies of it and I carry them with me sometimes, so I can hand them to women. You are welcome to make a copy yourself and pass them out. Or perhaps write your own testimony, make copies & keep it in your purse, encourage women in love, like that waitress to take time to read it. God be with you, and bless you. Be strong for the Lord.
